A seasoned industry professional and conceptual creative thinker, Laurie joined Bhandari & Plater as a co-principal and creative director in 1997.
Laurie’s work is informed by her passion for all areas of design, drawing creative influences and interconnections from architecture as well as industrial, landscape and interior design. Tackling creative problems with a keen attention to detail, she has collaborated on major projects including branding, new media and digital design, print and traditional media, integrated campaigns, and more.
An experienced print and digital designer, Laurie’s work has won numerous awards over the years. In particular, her work for the Alltagsgeschichten catalogue was recognized by The American Institute of Graphic Arts as one of the 50 best-designed books in North America. She has also had work added to the permanent design collection of the The Royal Ontario Museum as well as numerous CASE awards.
